What a Sweet Coffee Shop

Have you ever walked into a store or a restaurant & immediately love how well decorated it is?
That exactly how we felt when we walked into this little coffee shop!
Boy, was it just about the cutest place ever!

What a cozy little spot to sip coffee!
And nap ;)
I'd be safe in saying that I could easily kick off my shoes, curl up with a book,
and eventually fall asleep right there on the coffee shop couch!
You two?

When we were on vacation in May, we were out exploring the Orange Beach {AL} area
when we needed a pick-me-up cup of coffee & this place was the first one we came upon.
Lucky us.

And I'm sure you already spotted the piece that I am totally in love with ;)

OMGoodness ... who wouldn't want one of these hanging right in your house?!
I'd take it in no time flat.
In fact, I'm so inspired by this that I just might beg the Mr. to incorporate one of these lovelies
into the next house we buy!
Course, he'd hafta build us one first, but if I try real hard, I think I can talk him into that.

The back is recycled old shutters .. and the sides from an old door.
Yep, pretty much right up my alley!

This shop had Christian music playing & had a bookshelf full of cds & books,
all by Christian artists.
Another bonus.

But one of the best things of all, this shop is pretty much right across the street from the beach!

So, if you find yourself in Orange Beach and want a good cup of coffee ...
and a fantastic place to have it, GO TO  Liquid Life!
And while you are there, look for a drink called 'The Angie' ...
for serious ;)
I'm the least experienced coffee shop person in our family, so I never know what to order.
So, I customized ... I asked for something mocha-ish with a shot of coconut ...
more of a frappeccino kind of dealie.
She was happy to oblige & was so curious about it that she left a bit in the blender
& poured it for herself to try.
And she loved it!
She said that she was going to have to add it to the menu!
How cool is that?!
{No, she's not ganna call it the Angie ... that part was just a joke =) }

Thanks for visiting me & come back soon.

  1. Nobody is lounging on that swing though...probably because they're all at the beach! It looks like you would have your choice of sofas, you could just take little naps in between all of the mocha deliciousness. I do love that swing.

    1. Me too! So serene & cool, but very inviting. I think that's what I love most about beach/coastal decor. Thanks for visiting, Michelle.
